We were returning to Camp 2 after staying in Camp 3 (and watching the sunrise from the summit). One of our guides, Jackson, ran ahead down the trail to "Find minima". Some time later, we came upon him sitting down on the trail. He told us to look for a Brookesia minima right next to him. Of course, we could not find it until he pointed directly at it. I was shocked by how small and feeble looking it was, as if it could snap in half if picked up too forcefully. We took turns holding it as we marveled about how Jackson managed to find such a tiny creature.
