I couldn't positively identify this guy. Any suggestions? Sorry, no shots with the tail visible.

This is all we saw of him. Probably 2' in length, in approximately 10' of water, midafternoon.

My best guess is Purplemouth Moray, but I've never seen one before. Just looks superficially like the photo in my fieldguide.
