Description

Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus (East).

Habitat: On leaf of heavily mined Ipomoea batatas (cultivated in a garden box). Pupa outside mine.

Identification: Bedellia somnulentella (Zeller, 1847). Pupa. ID based largely on host association.

Adult emerged on or before 18 April 2015 (see final photo).
