Description

Creamy yellow gilled fruiting body.
More than 4 metres up the trunk of a planted Bishop Pine (Pinus muricata).

Identification by Martyn Ainsworth, Senior Mycologist at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Common name in North America: Train Wrecker [it causes rot in railway sleepers]
