First Bloom: As another data point, this is the first bloom of this species at this general location/altitude on the bluffs on the East-West Regional Trail. I cycle this trail every few days and they weren't present last time. We had a pretty cool and VERY wet spring. Maybe this first bloom info will be useful to someone studying climate? (I entered observations for many of these same flowers near the same spot last year. But, not sure of bloom date last year.
