Swamp Sparrow? Looked a lot like a Lincoln's, but much more rusty brown in the wings, and lacking the chest streaking and the buff coloration on the flanks and malar. Behavior skulky, occasionally popping up from the reeds. Initially responded to pshing. Seemed to be alone.
