Description

Archachatina bicarinata Bruguiere is a endémic subspécie from Príncipe Island of an air-breathing tropical land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Achatinidae. The endemic giant land snail Archachatina bicarinata on the island of Principe is on rapid decline, mainly because of the introduction of exotic species and for being very appreciated as delicacy. You can find themselves more and more into the Natural Park of Príncipe Island.
