Description

This spectacular caterpillar is a Rusty Tussock Moth or Vapourer (Orgyia antiqua). It is the only one I've ever seen, with tufts on its back, fuzzy black horns and tail, and bright orange spots. It took a long time googling to identify it, as it's native to Europe.
