Description
Discovered and photographed by my colleague Graeme Loh.
About 8m above sea level at the base of a cliff. The bone was in a matrix of sandstone and volcanic rubble and soil. The burial and the calcareous content of the talus probably explains the quality of the preservation. It has not been on the surface for long. Bone recovered Saturday 21 Nov 2015 and sent to experts for identification.
