Description

Two species of teasel are found in the area. According to the Jepson Manual;

D. sativus has a involucre bract that is generally ± spreading or reflexed

D. fullonum has a involucre bract that is generally erect or upcurved

This more closely matches D. sativus in descriptions and illustrations.
