Description

Tasmania has only skinks, not lizards. I think this one, spotted in the rocks near the beach, may be Carinascincus ocellatus (Spotted Skink)? Online I read that this was formerly called Niveoscincus ocellatus, and it's endemic: http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/indeX.aspX?base=5393
