I found this snake under something in the yard. It must have felt threatened because it lunged at me as if to strike...I did not mess with it at all. Ornery little thing ;). I snapped some photos and left it alone. I don't know my snakes very well so I appreciate the id. If anyone could recommend a great resource for me for learning them better that would be great. Thanks!
