A native wildflower, Texas Dandelion is also known by the common names Smallflower Desert-chicory and False Dandelion. The Texas Dandelion represented in our observation was the only one of these seen during our most recent visit to the access area. Texas Dandelion is an authentic resident of North America and the Western Hemisphere. The 428 Greenbelt Access Area is administered by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
