This one stood out from a cluster N. hamata. Bracts do not have the down/turned spine at the tip and seem more clustered. I am hoping this might be N.atractyloides which is on the CNPS list for the park, but I've never found. The bracts don't seem to have the distinctive 3 prong of most of the CalPhotos images. Leaves had a pleasant fragrance--no skunk odor. Is this just a stunted N. hamata @polemoniaceae?
