Found in flower along Que. Cristalino, flowering basally. Note the strongly plicate leaves which characterize C. erythrophyllus vs. C. claviger. Also, bract appendages not reflexed, larger bract appendages on this example than on the Rio Pato plant.
NOTE: Colombian botanists have determined this to be C. claviger which per Maas 1972 included C. erythrophyllus. I think this most closely fits C. erythrophyllus. Dave Skinner
