Description

The intricate nose-leaf design of a Striped Hairy-nosed Bat (Mimon crenulatum). This uncommon species roosts in hollow tree stumps and rotting logs in the forests of Trinidad. It hunts beetles, moths and small lizards. Photo: Geoffrey Gomes (Trinibats)
