Sterling Archer was rescued by The Marine Mammal Center when she stranded on Del Monte Beach near Monterey. She was diagnosed with domoic acid toxicity. After a few months of care, she was released back to the ocean, at Rodeo Beach. A tracking antenna was attached to her back.
