Adult Common Porcupine (Erethizon dorsatum) DOR, Tamaulipan Thornscrub habitat of shrubland with sparse grasslands, shrubs primarily ceniza (Leucophyllum), blackbrush acacia and other xeric shrubs representative of the northern portion of the Tamaulipan Thornscrub in the vicinity of Amistad Reservoir. Specimen found mid-evening. Not salvaged.
