Roadside Hawk (Buteo magnirostris, ssp. petulans) perch-hunting. Roadside, where else? I like the polka-dotted undertail coverts. This is a very small buteo, same length as (thus smaller body than) a male Cooper's. It perch-hunts rather than soaring.
