This is Ampithoe lacertosa or the Sea Lettuce Sea Flea. I thought it was a green shrimp until I tried to ID it. It's bright green, the same color as Sea Lettuce (Uva lactuca) and only about 1" long. I observed it in a clear plastic container as it madly shot about trying to escape, then returned it to its tide pool.
