The purpose of this bioblitz is to compare the current intertidal invertebrate species with those recorded in a 1977 "bioblitz"- it wasn't called this at the time, but similar idea. The participants in this bioblitz will be some Schoodic Institute staff along with an Earthwatch teen volunteer group and the Acadia Teaching Fellows. Along with data collection, the goal of this bioblitz is to introduce iNaturalist to the groups and provide a greater understanding of intertidal invertebrate abundance and diversity. less ↑
