The cluster fly Pollenia vagabunda (Diptera: Calliphoridae) was recently found in Soldotna, Alaska, the first record of this genus in Alaska. Its biology is unknown, but some cluster flies are known to be parasites/predators of earthworms. This project exists to determine the biology of this animal, map its distribution in Alaska, and look for other species of Pollenia in Alaska.
