Xenophrys parva-was founded in Khadimnagar National Park by Jay Prakash Ray and Animesh Ghose. It was found in South-east of Bangladesh for first time, as it was recorded only in South-East of Bangladesh.

This species has been described from Bangladesh in 2011 by Mohammad Sajid Ali Howlader.The species verification is given by him.This locality record has been published in Herpetological Review 42(4), 2011,p562.This is the first locality record in Bangladesh after the species has been described from Chittaging.
It was captured by me and my friend Abdur Rakib Uzzal. Certainly, we got it at day time under leaf litter. It has yellow-brownish colour.
This species found in a pond. Whether these species recognized as Indian common toad by many scientist. But i am confused that it have no charactisticts hard wart like Duttaphrynus melanostictus. Its body surface also soft. It may be young of Duttaphrynus melanostictus or another species under Bufo.
We found the species in a small water lodging place near a paddy field.
