Arcadia Trail Park is 217 acres, bounded by Island Park Drive on the north, Glenscape Trail on the south, Arcadia Trail on the east, and Teal Drive on the west. Basswood Boulevard divides the park into Arcadia Trail Park North and Arcadia Trail Park South. The park offers approximately 21 picnic tables, 4 shelters, 22 benches, 8 playgrounds, 26 pieces of playground equipment, 2 bike racks, 3 tennis courts, 2 soccer fields, 2 basketball goals, a baseball field, walking trails, hiking and biking routes, and a disc golf course.
The park has a designated prairie restoration site that has some high quality relict native Fort Worth Prairie plants. iNaturalist volunteers are helping to document the diversity at this park in the prairie sites. The management of the prairie consists of reduced mowing, which allows the plants to flower and seed.
At certain park entrances there is a kiosk that shows the park layout, including the trails, creeks, ponds, playgrounds, doggie stations and surrounding streets.
