color: yellow/orange with black spots.
The insect was tappping on the ground with the last section of its body
half inch long
a dividing line and two black sections on the tail section. If I can see well, the middle section has a solid yellow/orange color, and the divider between section 1 and 2 there is a clear black bar.

Located in a semi-clearing in a dry tropical forest, and within meters of a seasonal river (dry).
Salient feature: iridescent green side stripes.
Salient behavior: attracted to sound and moving disturbance. Although positioned with 2 meters of the iguana, when a small pebble was thrown nearby to move the creature, it moved TOWARD the object thrown, not away.
