Wouldn’t it be cool if we became the Wildlife Capital of New Zealand?
Over the past couple of decades the citizens of Wellington have invested heavily in our wildlife hotspots – with both money and sweat. We now have world-leading reminders of what our country should be like. All those who have been involved can be justly proud of the conservation gains those projects have made.
Now we need the citizens of Wellington to give our scientists and volunteers a hand by recording and reporting wildlife, predators or weeds – make an observation on here where you can upload photos to confirm the identity of something you are not quite sure about.
You can learn more about Enhancing the Halo at http://halo.org.nz
If you are not sure about weeds email it to pest.plants@gw.govt.nz
