Where?
Coleto Creek Park Nature Trail, Bike Trail, or other Park Area accessible on foot ( Day Use Area, Ranger Station, Widflower Gardens, Loop 1-3). Each photo must state which location.
What?
Make an observation of any species (plant, animal,or any form of life) by taking a photo and identifying the species. Maximum number of times you are allowed to observe any particular species is ONCE a day in each location on the park.
Observations Must Be Added ONLINE to Inaturalist.org.
Observations of Species must be recorded on Inaturalist.org using a User Name which identifies you. You must set up a user name and register it with this contest. All your observations must be recorded using your User Name.
You will need a digital photo device ( examples are Ipad, Cell phone, digital camera). Your photos must have date and location.
Make sure you have the following information included on every observation:
Date Photo Taken
Coleto Creek Park Location
Species to the most specific possible ( Roseate Skimmer is
better than Dragonflies, for example)
User Name and Park Day Pass Used That Day ( Contest Code
provided at front desk when you arrive)
Lat and Longitude (if possible)
Who Can Enter?
Anyone, Any Age, Individuals or Groups, ANYONE
Resources?
You are allowed to use any resource you like to look up and identify species. No limits or rules. You research the sources you find most useful and accurate.

RULES: All observations must have date the photo was taken and all observations must be at Coleto Creek Park with roof of both. Must record observations on Inaturalist.org using a User Name you have registered with this Contest on Inaturalist.org.
DEADLINE for entering all observations January 15, 2014
Winners will be notified via Inaturalist.org or email by February 15, 2014. Awards will be at Park Office for you to pick up at your leisure.
