Nevada Rare Species Tracking List - NDNH

Please consider trusting our project with your location data. Many of our rare species locations are automatically obscured to protect them from human disturbance so we can only see true locations if users trust this project. The curators of the project are all staff at the Nevada Division of Natural Heritage (NDNH - formerly NNHP, Nevada Natural Heritage Program) and we collect rare species data to help land managers make informed decisions about conservation and developments. NDNH systematically collects information on Nevada's at-risk, rare, endangered, and threatened species, providing the best single source of information on Nevada’s imperiled biodiversity. We continuously seek the most current information on these species throughout the state and maintain the databases accordingly. NDNH provides information on the locations, biology, and conservation status of sensitive species in a variety of database formats (including Geographic Information Systems) for sites ranging from local parcels to the entire state. Frequent users include consultants, resource management agencies, conservation organizations, and scientists engaged in planning, development, conservation, scientific research, or other projects.
