Approximately five of these were observed for the first time after several visits to this area.

I observed four of these beautiful lizards today all between 09:30-10:30. Prior to today I had only observed one in this canyon, this being the only prior example that I'd seen in Haiti.

Several of these were observed. Mostly fairly high up in trees.

This was the most common lizard species observed today. They were typically on the ground basking in diffuse light, but this large (female) was on a tree.

I observed three adults of this species today. A record for this canyon.

This is the first one I've observed in this area.

A flock of this species was observed nearby. This individual came to visit, as he seems to most mornings.

This is the first one of these I'm seen in a few months. We've had some rains so there are lots of insects and conditions are pleasant out.

These are the most common lizard in the area. They are active during the hottest time of day and often frequent trash piles in the neighborhood.

One seen feeding on Agave flower. These are starting to appear in the neighborhood again.
