Through the efforts of concerned citizens as well as the Trust for Public Land and other entities, Marsh Creek State Historic Park was established in 2012 and is not yet open to the public. Cataloguing the species found in the Marsh Creek State Historic Park and Marsh Creek Reservoir will update past records and provide an ecological snapshot for agency staff. This year’s investigation will also include Marsh Creek Reservoir and Contra Costa County Flood Control District lands adjacent to the park. Take advantage of this unique opportunity in helping us catalogue the biodiversity in California’s newest state park!
