Saving Turtles at Risk Today (START) aims to conserve Ontario's reptile and amphibian species at risk (SAR). We record location data and individual morphometrics for turtles. This project has been collecting data for the last 7 seasons, and we hope to continue doing so for many more years!

We would love your help identifying important SAR locations! In particular, if you come across a Blanding's or a Spotted turtle, please call our turtle hotline! 705-955-4284. Sometimes we can send a research team out to process the individual.
