Monarchs are here! Time to be on the look-out.

Monarchs are in Texas (https://www.learner.org/jnorth/maps/monarch_spring2016.html), and eggs were recently observed on milkweed in Gonzales County. It was a warm spring so milkweed is up early in many places. Now is THE TIME to make the 'AND' part of the project happen: let's see some milkweed AND monarchs observations!

Thanks Ben. This past week I made a few flowering iNat observations of green milkweed and antelope horns in Fayette County. I also observed both of these milkweeds in flower in Bastrop and Travis County. So keep an eye out for flowering milkweeds and monarchs and make lots of observations!
