maybe a Brown-Belted (Bombus griseocollis) Bumblebee pollinating the Atlantic Camas
A fuzzy looking yellow and black bee. He was collecting nectar when I saw him and was surprisingly ok with me being there with him.
Males were common on teasel throughout the area. Few females seen, but they also stuck almost entirely to teasel, despite Mimulus and Verbena being much more abundant.
