three shots posted; two as the critter was found and one after I placed it on a tree trunk to show its orange and black abdomen a little.
A couple inches long with black hair on top and reddish hair on the bottom. Body is white and black with reddish spots.
These fuzzy caterpillars are all over the ground and low plants right now. Does anyone know what species they are?
