A small green boophis treefrog, found low down in road-side vegetation along the main road through to Andasibe National Park
Boophis viridis found at night on the road leading to Andasibe, Madagascar. Interestingly, unlike the other Boophis species found on this road, B. viridis in 2010-11 seemed to be much more abundant before the rainy season started. Location approximate.
Boophis viridis is a species of frog in the Mantellidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
