Description

Florida scarlet snake Cemophora coccinea cooccinea. Bright white bands, Snout was barely orange! Remember Coral snakes ALWAYS have a black snout! This was a rescue from a yard a few years back (with an old digital camera!) Relocated to a more habitable area without people!

Description from Wikipedia

Cemaphora coccinea is a non-venomous species of colubrid snake commonly known as a scarlet snake. It is the only member of its genus. They are native to the southeastern United States. There are three subspecies of C. coccinea.
