This adult colubrid snake (next to a coin for size comparison) was found during the day in a forested area 3 km north of Puerto Santana, Pastaza Province in eastern Ecuador as part of a herpetological survey to determine the feasibility of establishing a protected park for this region.

Found in my compost pile. The snake may be living there. I am
not sure if it is A. dunni, A modestus, or A. occidentalis yet. I have not been able to check on preorbital scales
