Grandisonia alternans is a species of amphibian in the Caeciliidae family. It is native to Seychelles. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, plantations , rural gardens, urban areas, and heavily degraded former forest.
