This individual is a Juvenile, the dorsum has remnants of the bold stripes, so presumably this individual is close to maturation.

Pseustes poecilonotus, the Dos Cocorite is a snake which is found in Amazonian South America, the Guianas, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago. It feeds on frogs, lizards, birds and small mammals.
