This is the western Slender Glass Lizard..absolutely incredible! Im not sure if they get their common name from how smooth their scales are or how easily their tail breaks off into pieces.
Eastern glass lizards are not snakes; they are lizards. A common mistake in Florida, believing these lizards are snakes.
