Description from Wikipedia

The Fitzinger's Algyroides or Pygmy Algyroides (Algyroides fitzingeri) is a species of lizard in the Lacertidae family. It is found only in Corsica and Sardinia. First discovered in 1834. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, temperate shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, temperate grassland, rocky areas, arable land, pastureland, and rural gardens. It is threatened by habitat loss.
