I was not able to make a photo of thia lizard, I had a couple of minutesenough time to observe it within the thalus. Careful re-examination of this area is necessary to document this population. This species is very narrowly distributed in Armenia, known just from few localities in Kotayk marz, and hasen't been documented for many years.

Description from Wikipedia

The skink genus Ablepharus contains the common snake-eyed skinks. Their name refers to the fact that their eyelids have fused to a translucent capsule; like snakes, they thus cannot blink.
