Sealion 8582 was found dead on the rocks at low tide near Point Pinos Lighthouse. The large brand on its left side was visible as was a yellow tag on left flipper.
So few opportunities for this City Guy to add mammal sightings to iNaturalist. This attraction at the end of Pier 39 pushes my own self-imposed limits for data collecting. I elbowed my way past the throngs of tourists for the shot.
