Description

Large, bright nudibranchs "trailing," a.k.a. queuing or tailgating.

Saw another pair one bay south two days prior: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/4174508

I was wondering if they mightn't be the same individuals, but from comparing the pattern of yellow spots on their "foreheads" it looks like they're 4 different individuals.

Description

Diving along the north side of Napili Bay, max depth 15 feet.

So cool! Large, bright nudibranchs "trailing," a species and behavior I hadn't seen in person before. They were going pretty fast (for slugs). Two days later I saw another pair tailgating in the next bay north: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/4174515

I was wondering if they mightn't be the same individuals, but from comparing the pattern of yellow spots on their "foreheads" it looks like they're 4 different individuals.
