Description

Found trawling in the San Juan channel. The flat fish was left eyed and fairly large in size, being about 5 inches in length. The sanddab had large scales on its eyed side which were visible up close. The dorsal and anal fins of the fish additionally had light speckling patterns on them. The fish had a fairly large mouth and a very straight and visible lateral line.
