Heliotropium (pronounced /ˌhiːli.ɵˈtroʊpi.əm/) is a genus of flowering plants in the borage family, Boraginaceae. There are 250 to 300 species in this genus, which are commonly known as heliotropes (sg. /ˈhiːli.ətroʊp/).
