Description

Animales pequeños de menos de 2 cm. Parecen ser abundantes y distrbuidos a lo largo de la parte este de la isla, aunque quizá estén en toda; viven debajo de las rocas y troncos caidos.

Observada en una cueva horizontal cerca de la superficie, la cueva está dentro del centro poblacional de Huhí, Yucatán, y se denomina Chom en lengua maya, que en español significa zopilote.

Amblypygi is an order of invertebrate animals belonging to the class Arachnida, in the subphylum Chelicerata of the phylum Arthropoda. They form a separate order of arachnids alongside the spiders, scorpions and others.
