This plant was growing on a rocky bank next to a creek it was fairly small,about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. The leaves were very soft and resemble hair. The stems were somewhat like celery The plant smelled alot like licorice.
This plant was about a foot and a half high. It smelled like black licorice. The leaves were string-like and all over the branches.
Foeniculum is a genus of fewer than half a dozen species, in the family Apiaceae (Umbelliferae).
