Description

Found some really cool looking slime moulds when we turned over a rotting beech log.

This is the white star-burst one!

You can also see the "orange-stalk" fungus in the 2nd and 3rd photos. and "black stalk" one in the 4th photo.

Description

I think this might be an early stage of Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa? Note this one has a distinct yellow tinge to it though. Seen in red beech-dominated forest on way up to Thousand Acre Plateau after 2-3 days of heavy rain.
