Observed on our Monthly Wildlife Walk:
Apple trees blossomed 3 weeks later than last year, hopefully that will save them from a killing frost.
Appears to be from a seed.
Would not have known this was an Apple Tree if it wasn't for Tessa. The flowers look a lot like those of a Cherry Tree, expect all the cherry blossoms have fallen and these blossoms are still on the branches.
Pink-fleshed variety "Thornberry." First day open on a tree I grafted last winter.
